Well after the crazy month Julia and I took a little trip into the Rainforest and stayed at what has now become our second home (haha) just kidding but you never know. The place hotel was called VERANA. It is call the handmade hotel. This was the most relaxing vactions that we have ever been on. The staff met our every need and made sure we had everything we needed to have a good time. If you get the chance to go dont hesitate. Also make sure you take the cooking class. It is located in a small fishing village called Yelapa. The people are so friendly it was had to say good bye. Here is just a few of Julia and I's images. Here and I got up every morning and went out in shot (the best time to shot was around 6.30 am) around the mountainside. We got some really cool images that we will be using for an upcoming book and calendar. It was also a great time for her and I to reconnect. This was not only a vacation but also a celebration. We celebrated 16 years of a wonderful marriage. Our life has been truly blessed with wonderful friends and 4 beautiful children, but most importantly we are still in love and enjoy every time we are together.
Also an added bonus you only get right here at portaitlife a recipe straight from the Verana Kitchen and Chef Fabian. Enjoy!! this is one of our favorites.

thanx for the recipe~gonna try it soon!

My wife and I honeymooned at the Mayan House at Verana in April '06. Thanks for sharing these photos with all of Been-Seen members... we also loved our stay and the staff was wonderful. Again, nice work!
